Once withdrawals are set up, GoFundMe asks its payment processor to send the full amount minus the transaction fee to the verified bank account. Our payment processors are not able to send partial withdrawals, so any remaining donation balance minus transaction fees will be sent with each withdrawal. Below are examples of User Content and/or uses that are illegal or prohibited by GoFundMe. This list is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to suppress fundraisers and/or investigate any user who, in our sole discretion, violates the terms or spirit of these Terms of Use. When investigating your fundraiser, user, or user content, we may consider all available materials, including but not limited to social media, related messages, and any other information we deem relevant in our review in our review, in our sole discretion. We also reserve the right, without limitation, to prohibit or disable your use of the Services, remove offensive User Content, suspend or terminate your account, suspend or terminate payments to such fundraising, freeze or stop donations, and report you to law enforcement or take appropriate legal action, including requesting a refund on our behalf and/or on behalf of our users. GoFundMe uses payment processors to process donations for your fundraiser and then deliver them to you. In order to withdraw money from a Fundraiser, an Organizer or, if not, the Beneficiary (collectively, the “Withdrawing Company”) must provide the Payment Processor with information about bank account information (“Withdrawal Account”). As the withdrawal company, you represent and warrant to the payment processor and GoFundMe that this information is true and that you are authorized to use the applicable payment account. GoFundMe brings your money to you quickly, because we know that many fundraising needs are urgent. You can set up payments and add your bank account as soon as you accept the campaign organizer`s invitation to make you a beneficiary.
Bank transfers then take 2 to 5 business days. Mobile Services and Text Messages: The GoFundMe Services include certain features that may be made available through a mobile device, including the ability to (a) upload User Content to the Platform, (b) navigate the Platform, and (c) access certain items through an Application downloaded and installed on a Mobile Device (collectively, “Mobile Services”). To the extent you access the Mobile Services, your carrier`s standard charges, data plans and other charges may apply. In addition, downloading, installing, or using certain mobile services may be prohibited or restricted by your carrier, and not all mobile services may work with all carriers or devices. By using the Mobile Services, you agree that we may communicate with you about matters relating to your account by SMS, MMS, SMS or any other electronic means on your mobile device and that certain information about your use of the Mobile Services may be transmitted to us. If you click “Send Code” via “Text Message” when setting up your GoFundMe account, you also agree to receive automated text messages linked to your account from or on behalf of GoFundMe at the phone number provided. You can reply STOP to these text messages to cancel them. The frequency of messages varies. Message and data plans may apply. We will comply with any additional requirements that may apply under local laws and regulations before communicating with you in this manner. If you change or disable your mobile phone number, you agree to promptly update your GoFundMe account information to ensure that your messages are not sent to the person who receives your old number.
Account Holder: From time to time, GoFundMe may, in its sole discretion, hold a DonationRaiser Account (a “Holdback”), restrict withdrawals (hereinafter defined as the transfer of funds collected to the Recipient), initiate a reverse ACH transfer, secure reserves, or take similar steps to protect its interests and those of its users. If you have any questions about a suspension that we may have placed in your fundraising account, or if you need information on how to resolve the suspension, please read this article. Software (defined below) available as part of the Services and the transfer of applicable data, if any, may be subject to the export controls and economic sanctions laws of the United States or other jurisdictions. No software may be downloaded from the Services or otherwise exported or re-exported in violation of these export control and economic sanctions laws. In recognition of the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules and laws regarding your use of the Services, including with respect to online conduct and acceptable content.
